I'm trying to be strong & positive to my autistic daughter. She's 21, and I've been trying to do right by her. I'm trying to get her into a program that will help her thrive and make friends. We've already had 1 setback due to things that happened when she was a child. She's a good person. Lovely. Friendly. She just needs a chance.

Please help me to find the words and actions to advocate for her. To help her to get ahead with her life. On Friday, I'll be filling out paperwork on her behalf to hopefully get her into a day program, and I hope you can inspire me to write the right words.

Please ... from one mother who loves her child more than anything to another mother who loved her children, please help.
