Lady Mordgud, Keeper of the Way and Guardian of the Gate, I pray that you show those who are crossing or will soon cross into the realm of Helheim safely home. Show them the way, and keep them safe from getting lost or trapped in pain on this mortal plane. We understand that we cannot cross until it is our time, or without invitation, but the time is coming and in some cases it has arrived. Watch over their journies, and help me learn self-control and strength to bear these burdens and manage my emotions in a way which honours both myself and others.
