I light this candle in honor of those who have come before me. For my Grandfather who lived as a man should, and guides me to this day. For my Grandmother who showed me what compassion was, and how it should be given. To my first son, whom I still hear and feel to this day. He showed me what life is about, and that it should always be lived to it's fullest. Hail to all those before me, and I promise to listen and to continue to learn. For while you are not here, you all will always be present in my life.
