You Who Sacrificed
by Axlazu
You who sacrificed, for nine long nights.
Hung for knowledge and found what you sought.
I need your guidance, your blessing now,
to find the balance in my heart.
I struggle to remain strong and tall
I stumble far too much
Lend your wisdom, your seeing eye,
so that I know what can be done.
Balance is what I seek, not fame or power
just peace of mind is all I ask
so I can finally rest and not be weary
and gather up for my true task.
You who sacrificed, you who gave,
I ask of you on this day.
To look upon me with favor and just,
So I can gather, build from the dust.
