For Loki: The Inevitability of Sacrifice
by S. Reicher
Lover of wit and cunning, mercurial as fire, and as terribly dangerous;
You set my inscape ablaze with that flame that is
beyond heat, beyond burning, and certainly beyond stopping.
Orgasm of the spirit, some might say, though I do not know that I do -- I have seen You once without masks after all.
Kaleidescopic, quixotic, You rage through my world; and I am glad in the making and unmaking of things to find You there.
The Inevitability of harm is not so great a price to pay for such unending blessings.
