This prayer isn’t to ask for anything. It is simply for honoring the Handmaidens by name and practicing mindfulness – allowing the things around you to gain more meaning and remind your of your gods. 

Syn my bars, Snotra my book,

Fulla my shoes, with Sága my story.

Sjöfn my pillow, Hlín my blanket,

Gná my dreaming with Vár of release.

Vör my darkness, Gefjon my goals

Eir my bandage, for Lofn’s lost heart.
