Thor Blessing for Goats

Goats are a
favourite of Thor, patron of the common man, which all too often meant a
peasant farmer in the old days. His chariot is pulled by two goats, Tanngrisni
and Tanngnost (Gap-tooth and Tooth-grinder). He could slaughter them for food,
and as long as none of the bones were broken he could bring them back to life
again.Say this charm over your livestock goats to keep them hale and hearty in the Thunderer's name.
Thunderer protect thy horns,
Thunderer protect thy hooves,
Thunderer protect thy bones,
Make thee sound and hale each day.
