óðinn, hjálpaðu mér; ég þarfnast styrk og kannski eitt vel staðsett spark á óæðri endann. Mig langar að vera duglegur og metnaðarfullur, en ég bara get það ómögulega, bara að reyna algjörlega tæmir mig af orku og ég er bara ekki viss um hvort ég nenni þessu lengur. Ef þú bara lánar mér smábrot af óendanlegri orku þinni og þínum metnað fyrir þekkingu, skal ég kynna mér Æsina betur og fræða þá sem eru viljugir um þig.

Thank you Odin, for coming to me today, for helping me find my path even though i had no idea where i was going for a long time there... thank-you for the wisdom, patience and understanding you give me as i figure out my way.

Thank you Odin, for all that you have shown me, for all that I have learned and have yet to learn. Of women and of war, of poetry and of tragedy. The calm of gentle rain, the song of the bird. Everything I have seen and all that I know. The sagas of men and the saga of Yggdrasil. From Asgard to Helheim is the Saga. The saga of Odin, tales of Gods, Jotuns, Alfs, Duergar, Trolls and Men. Tales written in runes, the Unending Saga of the Northern Sky. My path is but a page in the saga. May it be well written by the Hanged God.
