Thank you, Loki, for having patience with me as I struggle to understand and accept your will and guidance. You've been in my life for as long as I can remember, even though I'm only now identifying you. You have watched over myself and my family and protected us all, and for that I am eternally grateful.

Dear Loki, forgive me my weaknesses and failures in my worship of you. I have never before attempted to worship anyone, let alone such a fiery and passionate spirit as you.

I know I'm not exactly the most motivated or committed person, but for you I will try. Thank you for putting up with me all these years.

Loki, please help me keep sight of you. In my loneliness don't let me forget that you are the brightest star in the sky. All others are mere sparks, flashes of comfort but my true path lies solely with the beacon that is you. I am not sure if I am meant to be celibate the rest of my days, if that's something you would even desire in a devotee. But I know that my faith lies with someone whom I don't have to compromise my being to suit. Someone who charms me in both mind and boy, the way you charmed me within five minutes. Help me to keep my rigorous standards.
