Heimdallr, how could we address you? As the committed guardian of the Æsir with ninefold Jotun blood. As the one with an energy so refined and sacred that only you are perfectly attuned to the best bridge between the worlds. As the friend of humankind who comes directly to Heimas/homes of Midgardr and hence never needed place names (apart from holy mountains). As the best no-bullshit advisor who hears what we are saying and what we’re not saying. As the visionary who sees the whole spectrum of darkness and light and who like the Vanir knows the future. As strong fighter who will relentlessly defend his loved ones and bring back what was taken from them. As the cunning son of Odin who uses shapeshifting and stealth for good cause and with reason. As traveller trusted by his father on missions to the realms of the dead. As heroic power who dies and is reborn - knowing pain and destruction but gaining strength, love and wisdom in each cycle.
